Sports Massage Therapy

Treat those niggles, tight areas, sites of previous injury, pre and post event treatment, treat injuries – accelerate rehabilitation through improved blood flow bringing nutrients and oxygen into muscle cells and removing waste products together with stretching of the muscle tissues.

Sports massage treatments are likely to include a combination of some of the other techniques, for example; Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Cross Frictional Massage and Trigger Point Therapy with the aim of restoring muscle elasticity, working out tension from your muscles and other sift tissue and reducing injury risk.

Where appropriate we will also discuss appropriate stretches and exercises to aid in rehabilitation to prevent risk of re-injury or to address any postural defects which could be causing pain.
